The Ski Channel Film Tour: Coming to Aspen East Ski Shop in Killington, Vermont

The Ski Channel Film Tour will continue with the upcoming screening of “Winter” this Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Killington, VT. The premiere will be held at the Summit Lodge on Killington Road. There, at the Saints Pub, enjoy great food from 5:00pm on for this special event, which will be a free movie and will be shown in the Pub and the Green Mountain Room upstairs starting at 7:00pm. “Winter” features the most talented people in mountain ports today performing some of the most amazing feats ever attempted.

Simon Dumont is shown crushing the world quarter pipe record and later himself, in a terrible crash in Park City. Then there is Julian Carr who front flips a 210 footer in Switzerland. Later, Kris Holm rides on the lip of a 2500 foot cliff on his unicycle with no ropes or parachute. The scenes take place in the most beautiful parts of the world, ranging from the top of Mount Everest, to Baffin Island, as well as Norway, Switzerland, and even Mammoth Mountain. Its an action-packed combination of wingsuit flying, paragliding, backflipping, as well as tons of amazing skiing.
