Skiers and snowboarders in the area were beyond stoked to get on the lifts this morning and get in on the action. The new snow was brought in by a storm that traveled across Colorado during the day on Monday and continued into the night.  Neighboring mountains also got hit, Beaver Creek got nine inches while Breckenridge and Keystone each got four.

Snow Operations at Vail continue to evaluate the current conditions with the goal of opening more terrain (namely Vail’s Back Bowls) very soon.

This new snowfall comes at the perfect opportunity for the resort which has a lot of great activities planned for the remainder of January.

Coming up on January 19th is the Street Beat Free Concert Series. Bud Light and the Vail Valley Foundation present the concert, back for its 13th season. Skiers and snowboarders can ride all day on the slopes and stay for the sounds of White Water Ramble at Solaris beginning at 6:30pm.
