“Condé Nast Traveler” magazine has just announced the results of its sixteenth annual Best Places to Ski & Stay in North America survey, and the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa at Boyne Mountain Resort of Boyne Falls, Michigan has been named among the “Top 50 Ski Hotels!”

According to the publication’s editors, awards reflect the combined opinions of 28,876 “Condé Nast” readers who rated various travel venues and services. Eligible hotels were rated on a five-point scale – excellent, very good, good, fair or poor on a variety of criteria including rooms, service, dining/food, location, overall design and activities/facilities. Criterion scores representing the percentage of respondents rating a hotel excellent or very good were averaged to determine the overall score. Only hotels that received a required minimum number of responses were eligible for inclusion in the rankings.

“It is an honor to be associated with this list and represent the Midwest,” said Roy Haworth, resort accommodations manager for Boyne Mountain Resort. “We’re very proud to offer guests premier accommodations, a wide range of amenities and attentive service that creates memorable winter vacations.”

The centerpiece of Boyne Mountain Resort, the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa features 220 well-appointed one-, two- and three-bedrooms suites, as well as a full service restaurant and bar, the destination Solace Spa with 19 treatment rooms and a salon, fitness center and Pilates studio, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs.
