Mountain High: The Roads are Clear, Time to Get Some New Snow!

Posted By: on January 24, 2012 12:22 pm

We just got word from our friends up at Mountain High that they received over 4 inches of new snowfall yesterday. The storm that blew through has passed and revealed blue bird skies, cool temperatures in the mid 30s and mellow NE breezes. The route to get up to the resort has been cleared by some seriously dedicated snowplows, so strap the boards on the roof rack and set out for happy trails.

As of today (Tuesday) the slopes have a base depth between 12-36″, 21 trails open serviced by 7 lifts.

The new snow comes at a perfect opportunity for skiers and snowboarders to take advantage of Mountain High’s 2 FOR TUESDAY! Anyone with an Express Pass is eligible to get two tickets for the price of one, saving $59!

Another great deal is the $49 Tickets available at Ralphs Supermarkets, which allows you to save $20. Just head to any participating SoCal Ralphs Supermarket and you can snag a discounted 8-hour lift ticket!

Mountain High has gotten both the East and West Resorts fired up with terrific coverage. Keep in mind that the East Resort is still operating on a day-to-day basis so be sure to keep checking on their snow report to ensure what’s open.

Both the East and West Resorts are open with terrific coverage and your single lift ticket is good at both areas. The East Resort is operating on a day-to-day basis so please check the snow report before heading up later this week.
