It has only been two days of the O’Neill Experience with Sebastien Toutant (“Seb Toots”), and already it is quite apparent why being a professional snowboarder and star of Winter X 2012 is more than simply, fun and games. In his first full day in Aspen, Seb shuffled between morning and evening Slopestyle practice sessions, a Winter X press conference, and an ESPN ‘X Center’ interview and photoshoot…and the O’Neill cameras did not miss a beat! From practice runs and photoshoots, to lunch, to a few rare moments of downtime, the O’Neill Experience invites fans to follow Seb on his journey to defend X Games gold. Check out these candid shots captured yesterday, while Seb was hard at work:
O’Neill launched the O’Neill Experience to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Winter X like never before. “The Winter X Games are always a fun time, so it will be cool for fans around the world to share in that experience with me,” said Toutant, who is the leading athlete in ESPN’s promotion of this year’s Games. The campaign will also feature other O’Neill riders, including popular backcountry snowboarder Celia Miller, 10-year-old skiing phenom, Aspen Spora and David Wise, who will be competing at Winter X in Skier Halfpipe.
Early-round competition officially kicked-off today at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. For a complete list of the competition schedule, which runs through Sunday, January 29th, click here.
