Freeskier Richard Permin Joins the ATOMIC Family

On Friday, January 27th, Atomic announced the newest member of its freeski family: Frenchman Richard Permin! Already hailed as one of the most versatile and thrilling freeskiers in the world, Permin and Atomic will work closely to further develop his skiing abilities and progress the sport.

Permin joins Atomic’s already great-line up of riders which includes, Daron Rahlves, Chris Benchetler and Molly Baker from the United States, New Zealand’s Jossi Wells and Mike Riddle of Canada. For a complete list of Atomic’s freeskiing athletes, click here.

A rider like Richard Permin is a welcomed addition to any freeski team and Chris McKearin, International Freeski Sports Marketing Manager for ATOMIC is stoked to have Permin aboard. “We are very happy that Richie decided to join our team. His unmatched energy and passion for skiing flawlessly aligns the ATOMIC family and we cannot wait to see where his skiing will go.” McKearin states. When asked about the new partnership, Permin commented, “It is a dream come true to belong to this team. Some of the best riders in the world belong to the ATOMIC family and I am really happy to team up with them and continue to push the sport.”

Looking ahead, Permin’s calendar is packed full of trips and filming projects.  There he will debut his new and improved Atomic gear: the ATOMIC Bent Chetler, the ATOMIC Burner 130 Boot and the FFG Team 16 Binding. “I’ve already had a chance to get used to my new equipment and I couldn’t be more stoked on how it performs.” Permin stated. “This winter has already been incredible and if it continues like this it could be the best winter of my life. I couldn’t imagine a better time for me to change to ATOMIC!”
