Yesterday was Sebastien Toutant’s (“Seb Toots”) third day in Aspen and, with less than 24 hours before the Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle elimination round was set to begin, the 19-year-old gold medal hopeful opted for a traditionally light practice day. Rather than sit in his hotel room and waste the day away however, Seb and the O’Neill Experience explored a different kind of fun, off the slope: dog sledding at Krabloonik!
After a ride with the dogs, Seb headed back to Buttermilk on a snowy Aspen night for his first practice run at the Big Air venue. Check out pics, courtesy of O’Neill, from the day’s activities below!
The O’Neill Experience grants fans a unique behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a professional athlete and compete in the Winter X Games. “The Winter X Games are always a fun time, so it will be cool for fans around the world to share in that experience with me,” said Toutant, who is the leading athlete in ESPN’s promotion of this year’s Games. The campaign will also feature other O’Neill riders, including popular backcountry snowboarder Celia Miller, 10-year-old skiing phenom, Aspen Spora and David Wise, who will be competing at Winter X in Skier Halfpipe.
