Long Beach State Pyramid Rail Jam, California At Its Best

When you live by the beach in California, it can be harder to make it up to the mountains (especially if the swell is going off!). So California State University, Long Beach, decided to bring the snow to them. This Thursday, February 9th, the Ski & Snowboard team will host its first ever rail jam on snow-covered stairs of the Walter Pyramid, the side facing Atherton Street. If you are unfamiliar with the Long Beach campus, they have one particular feature that is unforgettable, and impossible to miss — the ginormous blue pyramid right by the soccer field. No, it’s not a casino, it’s actually a gymnasium (or so they say). Now, the CSULB Snow Team is taking advantage of the prime set of rail features leading out of the pyramid’s walls, and they are stoked!

Team riders will be competing for bragging rights and different prizes! There will be a DJ spinning hip tunes, free food for all, giveaways and more… So come check out what the CSULB Snow Team does best and enjoy a day of fun in the sun, and that fresh white stuff. Sponsors and vendors include:  Red Bull, Arbor, Smith, Flux Bindings, Liquid Force, Iceman. Inc, B4BC, Frends and more…

Come show support for local riders and the Snow Team while having a blast!
