Wine Country Network, Inc, the producers of The Denver International Wine Festival, has partnered with Copper Mountain Resorts to produce the inaugural Copper Uncorked Winter Wine Festival, a delicious celebration of fine wine, food and winter recreational activities.
This weekend, the Copper Uncorked Winter Wine Festival aims to be the most attitude-free wine and food festival in the Colorado Rockies. From February 10th through 12th, Copper Mountain will host guided wine tastings, the Vintners Reception, educational seminars, a unique Burger & Wine Challenge and the featured Grand Taste of Copper.
Friday night, meet and greet the festival’s vintners and producers at the opening Vintners Reception. Wineries will pour select wines, complemented by appetizers prepared by Copper’s acclaimed restaurants. At the Burger and Wine Challenge, taking place on Saturday at 1pm, six talented chefs will compete to create the best burger and wine pairings, utilizing 12 select wines and a variety of meats including beef, chicken, pork, salmon, lamb and bison.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite slider, making this the ideal Valentine’s gift for any Iron ChefTM enthusiast. Guests will top off the weekend with the anticipated Grand Taste of Copper on Saturday evening, where tastings of wines, beers and spirits will accompany a gourmet buffet dinner and decadent dessert spread.
