This Valentine’s Day, LiftTickets.com, an all-new site offering major discounts on lift tickets, is offering $14 lift tickets to two of Tahoe’s premier ski destinations.

With less snow than anticipated early in the season, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, have teamed up with the website to encourage skiers and riders to get back out on the mountain and do what they love.

“This is what it’s all about,” says LiftTickets.com CEO and founder Jim McAlpine. “In a tough season like we’re having, it’s partnerships like this and amazing deals that will get people to town and enjoying all that Lake Tahoe has to offer.”

Despite a slow start this winter, the conditions in Tahoe are great, McAlpine says.

Alpine Meadows has been ranked as a top winter resort by SKI Magazine.  Squaw Valley is known for hosting the 1960 Winter Olympics and its varied terrain. Together, they offer over 6,000 skiable acres, 43 lifts and 270+ trails. And snow machines along with cool nightly temperatures have kept conditions great. Blue skies and non-stop sunshine make it a beautiful time to be in Tahoe.

There are only a limited number of $14 lift tickets, so act fast! They are available on squaw.com, skialpine.com, or www.LiftTickets.com and must be purchased before midnight February 13th.

For those looking for a romantic evening after a day of skiing, consider a Squaw Valley dinner package. For $99 per couple (plus $29 per couple for the tram), you can ride up to High Camp, elevation 8,200 feet, and enjoy a three-course meal with wine and a view and a pianist to set the mood.

The Village at Squaw Valley is offering a cozy lodging package to add to your celebration in an area with a wide range of restaurants, bars, fire pits, boutiques, and art galleries. For $249-$269, stay in a condominium in the heart of Squaw Valley vacation community complete with champagne and chocolates, and relax with a couples massage at Trilogy Spa complete.
