FestEVOL_LogoThe second annual FestEVOL is coming up at Okemo Mountain Resort next month. The event will span two days, March 24 and continue through the 25th. There will be a ton of fun offered for attendies including the musical stylings of Guster, Barenaked Ladies, and the most recent addition of Big Head Todd and the Monsters to the concert line-up.

The two-day celebration is focused on promoting and celebrating snowsports, mountain lifestyle, live music, innovative natural brands and a sustainability-focused eco-village. A concert will be held on both days; Saturday the 24th will see performances by Barenaked Ladies and The Pete Kilpatrick Band, and Sunday will feature Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Guster.

Attendies will be able to enjoy some great skiing and snowboarding at Okemo Mountain Resort, as well as the Reverb Eco Village located in the Jackson Gore courtyard. Reverb was founded back in 2004 by Guster’s Adam Garnder and his wife Lauren. The couple are actively involved with FestEVOL and are dedicated to keeping the event as green and enviromentally sustainable as possible. The eco-village is highly interactive, and includes local, regional and national enviromental non-profit groups alongside alternative-energy and transportation exhibits. Reverb also featues all-natural and organic food sampling; as well as ski and snowboard demos put together by Ramp, Nordica and Burton Snowboards. The Ice House at Jackson Gore, the FestEVOL outdoor concert venue, opens at 3 p.m. on Sat. and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

“It is our goal to give our FestEVOL attendees a weekend escape where they can enjoy great music, awesome snow and delicious food with their friends and families,” said Andrew Jaffe, EVOL Foods vice president of marketing. “In its second year, FestEVOL is going to be better and more exciting.”
