After two years of seeing the iconic AWSM sticker all over the action sports scene, the brand has developed their first generation of products. And with legendary Christian Hosoi, X Games medalist Ryan Decenzo, and amateur skateboard prodigy Scott “Scooter” Decenzo as representatives of the brand, there will be many more in the days to come.
AWSM has produced unique, performance-level and quality accessories that look good and wear well during the daily demands of an active lifestyle. The latest items include performance belts, wallets, hats, tees, hoodies, skate tools, and backpacks in various colors and materials. They will be launched into the U.S. market March 15, 2012.
Hosoi’s and Ryan’s signature series will hit the market in July. Style and function are only two good reasons to peruse these products. Consider humanitarian purposes when deciding on a product from Hosoi’s line. Five percent of sales will go to feeding families in Cambodia and digging wells in Nicaragua that will provide people with clean drinking water.
Profits from the sale of the “LC,” a ground-breaking new skate tool, will be donated to MADD in honor of Luke Ceballos’s legacy. Luke and his friends designed the tool before he was killed by a drunk driver on October 10, 2010. He was a celebrated DC footwear rep from Texas and a close friend of AWSM.
The AWSM team riders also include Torstein Horgmo, Andreas Wiig, Mark McMorris and Craig McMorris. AWSM and team are counting down to the launch as it makes its way to local skate shops and online channels next month.
