Park City Mountain Resort has recently announced the promotion of Brian Suhadolc to become the new Director of Mountain and Base Operations. Suhadolc is a 20-year veteran of the resort and his new role takes effect immediately.
“We are always looking to promote from within and Brian’s proven leadership and commitment to the company made him the natural selection for the position,” said Jenni Smith, president and general manager of Park City Mountain Resort.
During Brian’s two decades at Park City Mountain Resort, he has proven himself to be one of the Resort’s leaders in helping to achieve the reputation as one of North America’s top resorts. Suhadolc was most recently the senior mountain operations manager, with main duties consisting of overseeing many aspects of the Resort’s operations, after a long tenure in the slope management department.
As the Director of Mountain and Base Operations he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Resort including slope maintenance (snowmaking and grooming), lift operations, lift maintenance, vehicle maintenance, buildings, mountain patrol, terrain parks and race departments.
Suhadolc replaces Brent Giles, a 33-year veteran of Park City Mountain Resort. Giles has been named Chief Sustainability Officer at Powder Corp, the parent company of Park City Mountain Resort.
