Weibrecht Qualifies for World Cup Finals

Olympic medalist Andrew Weibrecht earned a trip to the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup Finals after finishing 23rd on Sunday. The Norwgians had another 1-2 finish with Kjetil Jansrud and Aksel Lund Svindal taking the top two spots in the Kvitfjell super G. The top 25 racers in each discipline qualify for the finals in Schladming, Austria slated for March 11-18.

The men’s tour moves to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia for a giant slalom and slalom next weekend. Ted Ligety¬†will return to action after skipping Kvitfjell to train in Soelden, Austria.
