The Schwarzenegger Family loves to ski. They’ve been seen on various slopes around the country. Over the weekend, Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 18-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver was in a minor ski accident while riding the slopes of Sun Valley, Idaho.
In typical teen fashion, Patrick broke the news himself via social network postings.
He tweeted, “Little ski accident today. Some bruises and stitches down back and but (sic). Thanks to sun valley doctors for everything.” In addition to the post, Patrick included a photo of himself on a stretcher.
Patrick Schwarzenegger also tweeted out an additional photo of himself taken via Instagram showing a gnarly gash on his lower back with an accompanying message stating, “My ski accident “living the hurt lifestyle” Lawford.”
While it is not exactly clear how he ended up getting injured on the slopes, despite being taken to the hospital on Saturday to care for his injuries, Patrick was well enough to be back on the slopes Sunday afternoon, and tweeted out an update.
“Appreciate all the messages, love all you. I’m actually feeling really good today, and I even went skiing again today. Thanks again!!”
Its definitely great to hear the young skier was able to quickly bounce back from his accident and continue enjoying all the great snow Sun Valley has been enjoying so far this month.
