Après skiers have always known that skiing goes with champagne. But now it’s a sentiment captured in photographs. Spyder Active Sports, Inc. recently paired with luxury champagne brand Veuve Clicquot for what turned out to be a beautiful coupling at the Little Nell “Oasis” Pop-Up Champagne Bar at the top of Aspen Mountain.
“The setting that day lent itself perfectly to what Veuve Clicquot aspired to accomplish with the shoot,” said Russ Rowan, Spyder’s VP of Sales and Global Marketing. “We had a fun group of people, crystal blue skies, the snow capped Maroon Bells, a beautiful wood bar that The Public Works built for The Little Nell in celebration of Veuve Clicquot’s annual Clicquot in the Snow event.
Spyder is a leading Colorado-based ski apparel company founded in 1978. The company is known for creating premium pieces with both fashion and functionality using high-tech fabrics. Innovative from the beginning, Spyder launched with the ground-breaking padded slalom race sweaters and went from a small start-up to being distributed in over 50 countries around the world.
“From a color perspective, Spyder’s Fall ’12 line just snaps into place with Veuve Clicquot’s well known, classic aesthetic. The success of this photo shoot is no doubt reflective of the bold identities of both of these complementary brands. We’re definitely looking forward to further collaborations in the future,” Rowan said.
Veuv Clicquot opened in France 1772 and has a long history of excellence.
They invite their buyers to “Be Clicquot: modern, audacious, and premium quality” and serve as a guide to the most exclusive social events and parties across the country.
The custom wood bar built by Colorado’s lifestyle artisans The Public Works was a perfect backdrop for the two quality-driven companies and the models that displayed their products. It was the picture of class.
