Heavenly Resort is hosting a peak performance ski and ride clinic March 26-28. Three of the best instructors in the country will impart their expert knowledge in Peak Performance Academy, a three-day class aimed at making participants more focused on steep and mogul techniques, video analysis, high-end riding and off-piste tactics. Instructors will also help address personal goals.
“We have some of the top instructors at Heavenly, and Michael, Robin and Josh are the pros that teach our pros,” said Mike Allen, Heavenly’s director of Skier Services. “If you want to take your game to the next level, there is no one else in the business that will get you there as quickly or efficiently as these three.”
For $1,550 in registration costs, participants will receive three nights lodging at the Marriott Grand Residence Clun in Heavenly Village, a three-day lift ticket, daily on-mountain lunch, hosted après party, and a dinner on March 27.
All of the instructors are Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) or American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) National Demo Team Members. Michael Rogan has been on the PSIA National Demo Team for 16 years and is Captain of the PSIA Alpine Team and Director of Instruction of SKI Magazine. Robin Barnes is also on the PSIA National Demo Team and PSIA Western Division Technical Team. She is also a certified personal trainer under the American Council on Exercise. And third is Josh Spoelstra. Josh is a member of the AASI National Demo Team and Training Manager at Heavenly. He is also an AASI Examiner Level III, Freestyle, Children’s, and Adaptive Instruction. Participants are undoubtedly in good hands.
