Finish off the ski season with Breck’s Spring Fever Festival!

The ski season is nearing its end, so live it up while it lasts at Breckenridge for their Spring Fever events! Today kicks off their month-long Spring Fever Festival festivities around the ski area and Town of Breckenridge. 

Breck’s Spring Fever Festival starts with their comedy series at the Park Avenue Pud in the Village at Breckenridge tonight, March 22. Host Chuck Roy guides the show through hilarious acts performed by Nora Lynch and Phill Palisoul. Palisoul performs all over the world, hitting huge comedy clubs, cruise lines, casinos, and has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and has opened up for Jerry Seinfeld and Dennis Miller. Free parking in the F-Lot downtown, right across from the Park Avenue Pub. You will not be disappointed with this show, and are guaranteed to laugh your worries away. What better way to start a festival?-

You follow it up with drink specials! Friday is Breck’s 5 ‘Til 5 Terrain Park Happy Hour from 2-5 p.m. Presented by Freeskier and Snowboard Magazine, park goers can cruise Park Lane Terrain Park until 5 p.m., one extra hour later than usual. Both the 5 Chair and Colorado SuperChair lift will be open for the extra hour of shred. FREE food, beverages, and music is enough to keep any skier going, not to mention the giveaways and jam style contests. Prizes include gear from various ski and snowboard companies, Mountain Dew, Rockstar, season passes, and more!  Drink specials start at 2 p.m. at TBAR, located at the base of Peak 8, with $4 Bud, Bud Light, and Breck 50th Anniversary Ale specials from 2 p.m. till close every night during Spring Fever. 

After a day and night of hard skiing and good drinking, revive your mind with the EPICMIX Scavenger Hunt from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Connect with fellow EpicMixers in an on-mountain scavenger hunt, compete in challenges, earn EpicMix pins, and celebrate Spring Fever! Solve riddles to unlock special EpicMix virtual pins in various locations throughout Breck. Register as an individual for $10 or submit a team of up to 5 for $25.

But all this is just a warm up for The BUDLIGHT CONCERT SERIES starting Saturday at 2 p.m. with Julian Marley. So head down to the base area at Peak 8 to see the Grammy Award-nominated Julian Marley! Let Julian lift your souls with music inspired by life and spirituality and, needless to say, his legendary father Bob.

The party doesn’t end there! On Sunday, the party continues with the BUDLIGHT CONCERT SERIES presenting Soul Rebels! from 2-5 p.m., let the Soul Rebels Brass Band from New Orleans fill your ears with a powerful 8 piece line-up of drums and horns. Guaranteed to make for an awesome party atmosphere! Join them at the BudLight stage at the base of Peak 8.
