Junior national champion Ali Kariotis took the highest dual moguls honor Saturday when she stood atop the podium at the FIS Junior World Championships. Kariotis, 16, capped off a weekend of four U.S. Freestyle Ski Team junior medals – the most successful ever for the team. In addition to Karioti’s gold, Kiley McKinnon earned a bronze in aerials, Jonathan Lillis took silver in aerials and Bradley Wilson won gold in moguls.
“It means a lot. It was one of my goals for the season and after last year’s experience at Junior Worlds I knew I had the ability to win it”, said Kariotis.
With four medals to take home, the U.S. Freestyle team concluded the freestyle junior worlds season in epic fashion.
