Western resorts woke up this morning to over a foot of fresh snow. Crystal Mountain received 17 inches yesterday, but the strong winds lessened what could have been perfect powder conditions. Whistler Blackcomb took on 35 inches from the past to days, keeping their ski season long and strong.
Saturday brings promising snowfall for The Sierra and most Northern Lake areas. The Sierra will see will experience heavy snow fall beginning Saturday morning from a front continuing to move north through the afternoon. The Northern Lake area is forecasted to receive 9-12 inches by Saturday night.
Sunday’s forecast shows Wasatach getting 3-5 inches near Park City, and 4-7 inches around the Cottonwoods area. Colorado will be getting some needed snow after unseasonably dry conditions, as 7-9 inches are expected to reach the southwest part of the state.
Monday calls for another 15 inches at Whistler Blackcomb!
