Mount Hood Announces Spring Calendar Full of Events!

Mount Hood announced their exciting spring calendar filled with events. Start your spring off by winning a trip to Hawaii! Registration starts April 1 to win a trip from All About Hawaii. The winner will be announced at the Sno-Kona Pond Skim Competition April 28. Contestants must be present to claim prize. One registration per person, per day. The prize is an $1,800 travel voucher that can be applied to the trip of your choice!  So even though you don’t have to choose Hawaiii, why wouldn’t you?!

On March 31, the Vertical Restaurant will be hosting the Left Coast Country as they play from 1-4 p.m.

April 2-4 is the 3-Day Kids Camps and Freestyle Camps  that offer personal instruction for kids with similar abilities from coaches for all three days.

April 7 is the Women’s Clinic and  Full Sail Banked Slalom . The Women’s Clinic offers intermediate and advanced skiers and riders instructions to improve their slope skills. Full Sail Banked Slalom is a fun and challenging course with prize money for the open and senior divisions. There is also a youth division for both skiers and boarders.

April 8 will be hosting the Telemark Clinic , for beginners and experts alike by certified telemark instructors, and the Mountain Photo Workshop, featuring a workshop by photographer Grant Myrdal.

On April 14, Mount Hood will have their Ski to Defeat ALS fundraiser as they raise money to help support the battle against Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Also on April 14 is the Steeps Clinic . Available to advanced and expert skiers and riders only.

April 21 is the Mazot Fest . Presented by Double Mountain Brewing, the Mazot Fest features a fun, mid-mountain race to raise money for the Avy Dog Program.

And on April 28 is the 6th Annual Sno-Kona Pond Skim presented by Kona Brewing and All About Hawaii Travel. Winner of this event takes home a trip for two to Hawaii!
