Mountain High announced they will once again be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 8th. With more then $5,000 in prizes and two 2012/13 season passes, this isn’t your average rummage for jellybeans and mini packs of peanut butter M&Ms. Not that we’d turn that down!
The resort believes tracking down neon-colored plastic containers shouldn’t be just for kids, so they’ve created a second hunt just for those younger at heart than they are on their license. Starting at 8:30am, the adult hunt spans the West Resort. In Charlie-and-the-Chocolate-Factory fashion, the lucky guest who find the golden egg will win the big prize, an Adult Anytime Season Pass worth $699. Other exciting prizes include 8-Hour lift tickets, Night Tickets, food & retail discounts, and, of course, plenty of Easter candy.
The kids will have their turn at 10:00am at the Children’s Academy located just above the base area. The golden egg in this hunt is exchangeable for a 2012/13 Children’s Season Pass valued at $229.
Both Hunts are free and open to anyone with a lift or season pass. Late season rates are $45 for adults and $25 for children ages 7 to 12. Kids six years old and younger ski free with an adult. Passes for next season will be on sale with a special low rate through April 15th.
“The Easter Egg Hunt is a BIG hit so bring your baskets and arrive early. Remember to wear the proper footwear for stomping around in the snow,” John McColly, Vice President Of Sales And Marketing said.
Break out the wicker and pastels, kids. Easter egg hunts just got a little bit more interesting.
