The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced today that Joey Caterinichio has been named nordic program manager for the USSA. Caterinichio has been heavily involved with the team for quite some time now, first starting as a racer and later on serving as the cross country coach.

“I am thrilled to join the USSA staff. My goal is to complement the existing staff and awesome coaches who are doing an excellent job with our domestic and international programs, as well as continue to aid or implement quality programs, increase communications and quality racing opportunities for our entire nation to succeed at the highest levels. Current U.S. results are at an all-time best. What a great opportunity to join the USSA at this time”, said Caterinichio.

As the new nordic program manager, Caterinichio’s duties will primarily consist of serving as administrator for the cross country, nordic combined and ski jumping programs. She will also operate the nordic domestic system, manage internal projects and coordinate nordic sport committees. Joey has a wealth of experience through her ski racing and coaching careers that will lend itself well to international and domestic projects such as the Olympics, World Championships, U23 and Junior World Championships.
