Breckenridge Continues Ski Season Through April

It’s difficult for skiers and snowboarders to ever get enough slope side action at Breckenridge. No matter how many runs you take, there’s always something more to do and experience. Breck-fans were elated last month when the resort announced it would remain open through the month of April. Now, thanks to 17 inches of fresh snowfall over the past weekend — they have even more to be excited about!

The plan is to open lifts and terrain during the weekends at Peak 8, which will include Imperial Express SuperChair. Lifts will be spinning April 20-22 and 27-29 from 9am-4pm each day. To cap off an already great late season set-up, in honor of an amazing 50th anniversary season lift tickets will only cost $50, with free parking in the gondola lots.

“This is a great way to end our 50th anniversary season,” said Pat Campbell, Breck’s SVP & COO. “April is typically one of the snowiest months of the season and we have great spring conditions which we expect to last through the end of April. This is an opportunity for our season pass holders and skiers from around the world to take advantage of a few extra days, and enjoy more of the spring skiing we all love here in Breck.”

Additional services for Breck’s guests during the extension include special lesson prices, with half-day adult lessons starting at $59 and full-day children’s lessons for $99.  Breck Sports is also offering 50% off rentals at the Peak 8 location.

A full list of services for the extended weekends is up online now and will continue to be updated at http://www.breckenridge.com/info/extended-season.
