Pro Backcountry Skier and Adventurer Caroline Gleich Signs with ZEAL Optics

Earlier this week ZEAL Optics made the announcement that Caroline Gleich has joined the team! Gleich is a professional skier and adventurer known for her prowess in the big mountain backcountry. The skier super babe has been featured on the cover of Ski Magazine on more than one occasion, and can be seen in multiple spreads on the pages of Powder, Skiing, Ski Journal, Fitness, Men’s Journal and Outside. She now joins fellow ZEAL Optics team members, snowboarders Kimmy Fasani and Austen Sweetin, as well as skier Whit Boucher.

Caroline’s main passion lies in human powered activities. When she sets out to shred the backcountry, Caroline chooses to hike in order to earn her turns. Fueled by her love for the great outdoors, Caroline is a committed environmental advocate. She seeks to inform and educate the world to the intricacies of climate change and clean energy through her involvement with Protect Our Winters and Heal Utah.

“Caroline is not only an extraordinary skier, she is passionate about everything that ZEAL stands for,” said Joe Prebich, ZEAL’s director of marketing. “She will be a integral part of the team, helping with product testing, development, and design.  We are very excited to bring her into the fold.”

Caroline Gleich grew up in the state of Minnesota. She played ice hockey during the winters, biding her time until she was able to become a professional skier. Amidst her skiing and adventuring, Caroline managed to find time to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah. Not only is she beautiful woman and a talented athlete — she’s brainy too! Caroline currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is paradise for anyone that loves seeking out sports and outdoor activity.
