Sports films are never simple, and Red Bull has posted the stats. A total of eight different types of cameras were used during production including 18 POV Contours. For each minute of film, there was an average of 26.7 days of work required. The crew spent 726 days in the field during production, capturing 450 hours of footage. And it doesn’t end there. After shooting wrapped, the film was in post-production for 395 days. Years in the making, the final product is finally compete and ready for the world to see.
The world premiere is over and was well received at the Otter Bike Festival in Monterey, CA at the end of last month, but it will make its online premiere on redbull.tv on May 24, 2012 at 12pm (PDT). Join mountain biking fans and riders from around the world for the opportunity to screen an entrancing new film from a company that knows how to capture the lifestyle motivation behind extreme sports.
