California is an amazing state. From the sandy southern tip to the far reaches of the mountainous northern boarder, there is a wide variety of climates and terrain available to suit every sport enthusiast’s tastes. Typically, the only thing separating you from the next activity in the sunshine state is a little bit of travel. Yet, there are certain times when a location allows you to enjoy it all! Such is the case at Mammoth Mountain during this year’s Memorial Day Weekend! The Eastern Sierras have the perfect combination of late season snow and weather conditions for visitors to go skiing, biking and even play a couple rounds of golf!
With so many activities available, Mammoth Mountain is beyond excited to welcome the long weekend’s visitors to the resort. To help make the most of this amazing opportunity, they’ve created a special Ski/Bike/Golf Pass that will be in effect from May 24th – 28th! The $99 pass enables visitors to go skiing or snowboarding with an all-day lift ticket, gain access to the Mammoth Bike Park for some trail runs, and enjoy 9 holes of golf at the Sierra Star Golf Course after 2 p.m.
By combining all three activities you’ll be saving 40% (approx $70). Anyone that picks up the special pass will also be eligible for a 25% discount at the Juniper Springs, the Village Lodge and Mammoth Mountain Inn if you need lodging for the weekend.
The lifts stop spinning for the season on Monday, May 28th marking Memorial Day Weekend as the last chance to get on the snow at Mammoth Mountain. In some respect, this will be a solemn day, but with the Mammoth Bike Park opening for the summer on Saturday, May 26th there won’t be any time for grieving!!! Once set loose on the 80+ miles of single-track dirt trails, there will be nothing but solid smiles until the snow returns.
