Just a few days away from Father’s Day and you might still be unsure what to do with the “old” man. Well, there are a ton of activities that can make your father enjoy his special day. If you are on a tight budget, there are always deals and specials for your pops. It’s hard to pinpoint the perfect outing with your father, so The Ski Channel would like to help your last minute decision. Below, you can find The Ski Channel’s list of the top five things to do with your Father at ski resorts:

1.A great place for a full day of activities can be found at Snowbird in Utah. On Father’s Day, the main event is the Annual Father’s Day BBQ with live music and even access to the 4th Annual Brewfest. People can listen to Live music from bands like Swagger, Marinade, Max Pain and the Groovies from noon-7 pm. Also, the day can fill up with other summer activities, which includes the Alpine Slide, ropes course, hiking, and mechanical bull to name a few. This season, Snowbird will be adding the Mountain Flyer, a high flying zipliner that takes you down to base of the mountain. Past Ski Channel stories on the event:

2. Nottingham Park and Lake in the Vail Valley will be hosting their Burger King Father’s Day Fishing Derby from 10 am- noon on Sunday. People can enjoy their time with fun fishing competitions, a petting zoo, games, and a free lunch provided by the Town of Avon to finish things off.

3. People who are looking for adventurous activities will be pleased with Telluride. The Resort is offering discounts on river rafting, down hill mountain bike tours, and fly fishing, if you stay at their lodging for the weekend.

4. If your father is a golfer, then look no further than The Bear Mountain Golf Course. The 9-hole mountain style course is a good way to test out his skills, while enjoying your time outside with the “old” man. This Father’s Day, Golf and Eat packages are available for those looking for a full day of fun. ”The Bear Mountain Golf Course is a treat for families wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city,” Vice President of Marketing at Big Bear Mountain Resorts Chris Riddle said.

5. Car lovers from all over will be attending the 24th Annual Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup at Steamboat Springs. Some of the weekend’s activities will include a scenic mountain tour, auto cross, Friday night social, Show n’ Shine Car Show and awards breakfast.
