Dear Valley Resort, Park City, Utah (Summer 2012)– For an impressive ninth consecutive year, the Dear Valley Music Festival will take place at their very own resort’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater in Park City, Utah. This month long celebration running from July 7th to August 11th takes place in a crowd favorite outdoor amphitheater, which also doubles as the home to the Utah Symphony as well as Utah’s Opera.
“We’re excited to launch our ninth season with this great celebration of all things Americana and continue with a wide variety of musical showcases,” said Carey Cusimano, Vice President of Development for the Deer Valley® Music Festival. “Deer Valley’s renowned Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, with the mountains as a backdrop and the fresh outdoor air, is an idyllic location for the Utah Symphony to perform.”
Deer Valley Resort remarkably holds, for the fifth straight year, the title of North America’s #1 ski resort by the readers of Ski Magazine in 2012.
To kick off the month long extravaganza, the Utah Symphony will begin with a Patriotic Celebration on July 7. After that fan favorite tradition, this year’s 2012 festival includes performances from: the Utah Symphony playing the Music of Michael Jackson on July 14, Opera Hits! with the Utah Opera on July 20, Kansas with the Utah Symphony on July 21, 1812 Overture! on July 27, Broadway Rocks! on July 28, Disney in Concert on August 3, Earth, Wind and Fire Guiding Lights Tour on August 4, “The American Songbook” with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on August 10, and the Pink Martini with the Utah Symphony on August 11.
