With summer steadily creeping into full swing, the Park City Area Restaurant Association is excited to host their 5th annual Savor the Summit outdoor dinner party this upcoming Saturday, June 23rd, 2012. Boasting Park City’s longest and largest dinner party, the evening is filled with great food, cold drinks, and live music–a combination fit for a king.

The table is set in the middle of main street, nicknamed the “Grande Table” ,which runs all the way down the Historic Main Street in Park City. Those who attend will be able to view a culinary showcase in which the 31 participating restaurants in Park City will whip up their best meals in celebration of the summer season. Drinks and live music kick off at 4 p.m. and dinner starts promptly at 6 p.m.

The Park City Restaurant Association is certain it will sell out all of its restaurant’s available seating, as it has done the past two  years. While most restaurants are currently sold out for the event, its not too late to reserve your seat today! Restaurants that are still open to reservations include Al Denete (435-200-0260), Bankok Thai on Main (435-649-8424), and The Farm (435-615-8080). Menus typically range from $40-$150 per person, depending on the restaurant (with wine or beverage pairings extra or included). No ticket purchase is necessary.

Main street will be closed to vehicular transportation, but is open (for free) to the general public who are looking to soak up the good summer vibes and music provided by Mountain Town Music. Whether you make a restaurant reservation or not, come on down to Main Street in Park City to ‘savor the summit’ and enjoy a beverage at the “Spirit Garden”, hosted by Park City Magazine, located on the corner of Heber and Main. They will be serving beer, wine, and spirits, surely something to tickle everyone’s drink fancy.

The evening will also feature a live performance from Brooklyn-based funk band The Pimps of Joy time at 8 p.m..  Live performances on the evening also include the Dan Weldon Duo at 4 p.m., and Silver Spoon at 6 p.m.

For those who attend the celebration and wish to stick around Park City for a great summer’s night, lodging is available locally at either The Lodges at Deer Valley, or the Silver Baron Lodge
