The High Fives Foundation is proud and excited to announce that they will be launching the new CR Johnson Healing Center website. The launching is taking place today, June 26, and has been working with Iron Fist Media to develop a website that highlights what the CR Johnson Healing Center has to offer to its athletes. They’ve done so all while memorializing legendary freeskier CR Johnson, who sadly passed away in 2010 from a tragic ski accident.

The CR Johnson Healing Center, a program service for the not-for-profit High Fives Foundation, provides the necessary resources for athletes to recover from sports related injuring. The website, www.crjohnson.org, features High Five Foundation athlete updates, details on upcoming Community Days, along with information and videos of the late, beloved skier CR Johnson.

The CR Johnson Healing Center which opened on August 10, 2011, provides High Fives Foundation athletes with a “no questions asked” facility to work toward recovery, and offers the Tahoe/Truckee community the chance to work with some of the areas best healers, all while donating to the High Fives Foundation.

“Building a site that represented a man that had such an impact in not only skiing, but the community as well was no easy task. We knew the site had to be larger than life, just like CR. We chose a bold and bright design to honor our fallen friend”  says JP Lagos, the Owner of Iron Fist Media.

Definitely check out their awesome website, it is really well put together and offers a great look inside the Healing Center and what they are all about. It also offers an awesome peak into CR Johnson’s life, on and off the slopes. For sure a great cause in memory of a great athlete and outstanding person, CR Johnson.
