Have you ever wondered if there is more to life than first tracks on a powder day? Well, the Target athletes have it figured out and this video is proof. Kevin Robinson, pro BMX rider; Paul Rodriguez, pro skateboarder; Ryan Dungey, pro motocross rider, Torin Yater-Wallace, pro freestyle skier; and Simon Dumont, pro freestyle skier – featured in The Ski Channel‘s very own, Winter – spent some time with the kids and families of Target House, a home-away from home for children and their families during times of medical treatment.

Over the past five decades, St. Jude Children’s Research has been one of the major centers of research and treatment of adolescent cancer and other deadly diseases. In this video, Target House threw a party in honor of St. Jude’s 50th anniversary and their accomplishments over the years. The Target athletes took part in this special celebration, brightening the lives of the children of Target House, spending a day full of getting soaked in the dunk tank, singing karaoke, and even getting hit in the face by beach balls.

This was not merely beneficial to the children, but to the athletes volunteering as well. Torin Yater-Wallace said it was “touching to be able to hang out with all [the] kids,” and it gave him a better “appreciation of life.” Not only do these guys know how to shred, but they understand the value of sharing a smile with someone who needs one.
