With such a great response to the first O’Neill Experience at Winter X in Aspen, the highly anticipated second online series took off yesterday in an exciting manner. The series, which dives into the lives of several top shelf skiers and snowboarders on and off the mountain, started off day 1 of the experience yesterday at the Camp of Champions in Whistler, British Columbia. What is sure to be an amazing series, the O’Neill Experience stars snowboard maverick Seb Toots and fellow Winter X Games medalist David Wise, a deadly combo. Joining these two athletes for the experience include shredding stars Celia Miller, Iris Lazz, Brody Leven, Antoine Truchon, Aspen Spora, Simon Gingras, and Maxence Parrot.
The series will also feature legendary backcountry snowboarder and environmental advocate Jeremy Jones, as well as a number of surprise appearances from action sports’ elite.
Here is the awesome video from Day One of the team’s O’Neill Experience, following the team from the slopes of the Camp of Champions to goofing around at dinner time:
The summer O’Neill Experience will center on the athletes as they interact with the young up-and-coming athletes attending the Camp of Champions. The world-class summer snow camp is renowned throughout the industry for its ability to support aspiring athletes as they strive to progress their skills on the slopes. It is great to see both the professional athletes and the young novices alike getting such a well rounded and fun “experience”.
“The first O’Neill Experience in Aspen was cool because fans were able to see another side of my life off the mountain, hanging out with family and friends and enjoying the moment,” said Seb Toots. “In Whistler, our whole team will be together, so it will be really fun for our fans to see what we’re all like. I’m excited to hang out with the camp kids, too!”
Fans can expect daily footage updates to be posted on www.oneillexperience.com throughout the week, along with photos and video clips promoted across O’Neill Snow’s Facebook and Twitter networks. Views will get to see the pros throw down on the slopes, along with a number of off mountain activities and unexpected adventures throughout the Whistler Village. For action sports fans of all shapes and sizes, the O’Neill experience is something you will want to follow, as it shows some of the worlds best boarders and skiers perfecting their trade and just kicking it in their own comfortable elements.
