It’s that time of the year again!
Warren Miller Entertainment has just dropped the latest trailer for their upcoming feature film Flow State — and we have goose bumps! Since 1949, Warren Miller ski films have packed theaters around the globe, playing to crowds of elated skiers and snowboarders that hail from all walks of life. Flow State is the 63rd feature film project to come out of Warren Miller Entertainment, and once again will seek to describe the indescribable. To explore this phenomenon, WME has enlisted some of the world’s most dynamic athletes to share their perspective and talents on the snow.
There are few things in snow sports that unite skiers and snowboarders like a Warren Miller ski film. For more than half a century, these films have inspired audiences around the world to take to the mountains and experience the sensation of defying gravity as they rip across snow covered slopes. Flow State promises to expand upon this rich heritage and take audiences even deeper into the world of skiing and snowboarding.
The film will guide us to some of the most amazing locations for riding and gliding known to man, including Alaska, Austria, California, Colorado, Japan, Norway, Switzerland and Utah! Fans will bear witness as these epic ski locales are shredded upon by a cast of athletes made up by world-renowned athletes who are considered godfathers of the sport, as well as aspiring legends whose unbridled potential permeates through the silver screen.
Warren Miller’s narrator-protégé and Olympic skier Jonny Moseley reassumes his role as host of Flow State. Over the years Moseley has developed quite the on-screen presence, and can be seen every week on NBC’s popular game show, American Ninja Warrior.
The film is slated for a Fall debut, with a nation-wide tour to follow. Tickets will go on sale September 19, 2012.
