Discrete Headwear has announced the addition of Chris Logan to the team. The Mammoth-based skier is well known throughout the competitive scene for his ability to combine stylish tricks, rails and big air. Logan is also increasing his visibility throughout the industry thanks to a number of sensational film segments with Level 1 Productions. As the newest member of the Discrete Team, Logan looks to be an ideal addition to the roster.

Discrete Sport, LLC is one of the predominant rider founded, owned and conceived headwear brand in the snow sports industry. Professional skier Julian Carr started the company in 2008 with the goal of creating a brand that properly represented snow culture and the athletic personalities that fuel it. Discrete’s line of products allow its consumers to stand out from the crowd, which also happens to be a defining characteristic of Chris Logan whose talents not only excel in the backcountry, but can translate to the streets as well.

“I created and built awareness for Discrete by sponsoring amazing athletes,” said Julian Carr, Discrete Owner and professional skier. “Chris fits our program so well, it’s refreshing to know there is a kid out there with so much talent and an eagerness to work hard – that’s our formula.”

The young skier has enjoyed a number of successes over the past few seasons. During his first season competing professionally in 2010/2011, Chris won the North Face Pipe and Park Open Slopestyle, earning him a spot at the Winter X Games. During the 2011/2012 season he maintained his momentum by reaching the finals in two Dew Tour stops, along with filming segments in Alaska, Europe, and Pemberton, BC.

As we look forward to the 2012/2013 season Chris plans to continue thrashing the slopes up at Mammoth Lakes, CA, and will take part in a number of competitions, including the Winter Dew Tour. Logan is also slated to continue filming with Level 1 Productions, and will be putting out some web edits with his Mammoth-based production crew Montage Inc./Purple City Project.

The Discrete crew welcomes Chris Logan to the family, and put together a little video to celebrate the occasion.
