Award winning producers Teton Gravity Research, O’Neill and legendary snowboarder Jeremy Jones recently released the second installment of their snowboard film trilogy, “Further”. This past Wednesday, Jones and company premiered the film to a packed house of New York City locals at the Highline Ballroom, giving attendees a taste of big mountain snowboarding. Building on the success of “Deeper”, Jones’ second film pushes the limits of snowboarding, conquering wild backcountry in Japan, Austria, Norway and Alaska.
Coupled with the premier, O’Neill held their 60th anniversary art exhibit and treated guests to limited-edition movie posters, t-shirts, signature snowboards and a performance from reggae singer, Ras Drappa.
“Further” is yet another star studded film that is cultivating a new age of snowboarding. Fueled by a willingness to explore remote peaks and powder lines, Jones and Teton Gravity Research pushed their minds and bodies further than they could have imagined. This film is the result of their ambition to conquer the world’s most wild places.
