Great news for all you Ted Davenport fans out there! Discrete Sport, LLC, a rider founded, owned and conceived headwear brand in the winter sport industry, is proud to announce the addition of The Dav to their athlete program. Equipped with a parachute and a wingsuit, Ted has been testing the limits of human flight both at home and abroad. A well-known name in the freeski community (and Discrete ski athlete since 2010), Ted has successfully completed a number of high-profile jumps and was a starring member in the film Winter.
Discrete has committed to sponsor Ted as a result of his uniqueness as an action sports athlete, whether he is shredding the slopes or gliding through the air. Last spring, he jumped out of a helicopter 2000 feet over Aspen Mountain in a promotional event for Bentley Motors, yup, the car brand. He’s logged several first descent ski-base jumps in Baffin Island, Switzerland and Colorado, and just last week, he was in the Swiss Alps filming wingsuit proximity flying for GoPro and Nitro Circus star Erik Roner’s famous web series Roner Vision.
Even though Ted’s strength is in flying wingsuits, he is also a multi-talented B.A.S.E. jumper. With winter just around the corner, Ted is getting pumped for the ski season, and has some awesome projects on tap back in Europe, combining his two passions in life: big mountain skiing and B.A.S.E. jumping. Discrete is excited to play an active role in his future of this budding sport.
When asked about how Discrete became a huge success, Julian Carr, Discrete Owner and professional skier said, “I created and built awareness for Discrete by sponsoring amazing athletes.”
