Tommy Frey sampling that 6 feet of fresh in 7 days that Sandpoint, Idaho's Schweitzer Mountain Resort received.
When you get hammered with over 6 feet you know you’re in for a treat at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Being this is my home turf my buds and I B-lined for the T-Bar off the backside. The T-Bar is always holding the goods and with little pressure.

Our crew of 6 had a great morning charging hard and getting plenty of untracked lines off the T-Bar . There’s lot’s of open pockets and some sweet little features which worked well for Tommy Frey as he was on a recon mission putting his new Rossignol Squad 7’s to test before heads out on one of our cat skiing video shoots the first week of January.
Throughout the morning it continued to snow
and at times it was down right nuking making us work the edges of trees for better visibility. Hard to believe it’s only December and was this good.

So when it’s time to drop into your favorite line you might as well be “Dropping In” like Jeff Yates who said it was one of the best days of the year so far.
With 105” on the top of the mountain and 76” at the base it looks like we’re in for a great season. I'd say Christmas came early. Off to finish up on the Christmas shopping and back at it again on Wednesday. And if one of your buds tells you to stay out of his line, just look over and remind them, “it’s not your line until your looking back up at it”

Until next time have a Merry Christmas.
