Swatch Freeride World Tour Delayed Due To Bad Weather

The Swatch Freeride World Tour you all have been waiting for has been delayed due to bad weather!

The Freeride World Tour was scheduled to begin today, January 7th, at Revelstoke in British Columbia. However, due to bad weather, it will not begin today and tomorrow, January 8th will be used as a weather day. Revelstoke is still waiting for the right window to begin the competition.

The Swatch Freeride World Tour returns to Revelstoke this year, but bigger and better than ever. This year, which marks the first year that the tour is a “globally unified series,” is combining last years tour with the Subaru Freeskiing World Tour and The North Face Masters of Snowboarding.

Once the competition begins, everyone will be able to tune in live on our website ( 

The competition will begin on Mackenzie peak, otherwise known as “Mac Daddy” as competitors will be going head-to-head on this remote backcountry terrain.
