The Honey Jam Music Festival is scheduled to kick off on January 26th and 27th in the gorgeous Bay of Islands near Kerikeri, New Zealand. Being in the southern hemisphere, New Zealand's ski and snowboard season ended around the time the early season kicked off in North America. Despite their lack of snow, Kiwis can still get a taste of winter thanks to Matt Reardon! The professional skier and rockstar has signed on for a special collaboration with Northland-based Furious 3 to jam during the festival.

Here's an excerpt from The Ski Channel's film, “Winter”, which features the shred-star Matt Reardon:

A self-described “boutique music festival”, the Honey Jam is going to be a laid-back, intimate affair. The stages are going to be set up so navigation is quick and painless, and there will be a dedicated kids area to drop off the rug rats. It's a festival with all the makings of a mini-holiday. Attendees can expect to experience over 18 different music acts over the two day affair.

The fun kicks off at 11am on Saturday, January 26th and rages until 6pm on Sunday, January 27th.
