The awesome Nine Knights Freeski event is back in its fifth year and you can be there too! Freeski pioneer Nico Zacek from Germany draws in professional riders from all over the globe for a Supersession to ride a massive snow castle with royal features in Livigno, Italy from April 15 to 20, 2013. The Contour Wanna Be A Knight video contest gives you the chance of a lifetime to ride on the magical castle with the best freeskiers in the world like Tanner Hall, Henrik Harlaut, Phil Casabon, Markus Eder and Tom Wallisch and more.

As the host of the Nine Knights freeski event, Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livigno is a resort known for great involvement and innovation of freestyle sports. At 2,200m above sea level in the Italian Alps, Nico Zacek and the experts from “Schneestern” are creating a new and improved snow castle for this year known as “Il Castello”.

Event Mastermind and rider Nico Zacek commented on the event efforts, “We have never invested this much time into planning a setup before but the extra effort is definitely worth it. I don’t want to give away too much but I can tell you that Il Castello will exceed everything you’ve ever seen at the Nine Knights.”

If you think you have the skills to keep up with the pros, then get involved in the Contour Wanna be a Knight video contest. You have until March 25 to send in your freeski video showing nine of your best tricks as well as 3 rail bangers. Judges are looking for air time on kickers, quarters, halfpipe or hips. Video editing or quality has no impact on the decision making- just the raw trick footage of skills and style.
