Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort will be hosting the first Junior Freeride World Championships by The North Face this weekend, April 5-6 in Utah.  The competition will unite skiers and snowboarders ages 15-17 from around the world in an intense big mountain competition.

Youth European freeriders who qualified through the Dakine Freeride Juniors will hit Snowbird’s legendary terrain with their North American peers for the first time.

Little Cottonwood Canyon received more than a foot of snow, perfect for freshening up conditions for the athletes.
