With only three days left to purchase the best season pass deals available for Lake Tahoe’s Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar California Resort and Kirkwood Mountain Resort, skiers and snowboarders will receive six buddy tickets for their friends and families for the 2013-2014 winter season. These resorts are making it easy to purchase your season passes early for only $49 down and with payments for the remainder of the amount not due until fall.
“Other area resorts have raised prices and added restrictions to their passes, further widening the value gap and undeniably proving our passes offer the best value,” said Kirsten Lynch, Chief Marketing Officer for Vail Resorts. “Offering the most skiing and fewest restrictions at the lowest price, there is no better deal on skiing and riding in Tahoe than the passes offered by Vail Resorts.”
The Epic Pass™ (11 resorts, no restrictions, $689), Tahoe Local Pass™ (three resorts, seven days a week, 11 blackouts, $439) and Tahoe Value Pass™ (Heavenly seven days per week, Northstar/Kirkwood six days per week, 11 blackouts, $389) provide access to the region’s three premier resorts – Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood, with the combined 10,270 acres of skiable terrain for as little as $389.
Vail Resorts offer the best of Tahoe with three very different experiences: Heavenly delivers an unmatched high-energy vibe, Northstar offers Tahoe’s premier luxury experience in a family-friendly atmosphere and Kirkwood is known for its authentic, big-mountain ski and ride experience. Tired of access restrictions for your weekends off work? Vail also allows season pass members to hit the mountain on Saturdays. Season pass holders are guaranteed a successful winter with the luxury of Kirkwood who received the most annual snowfall in the region this past season and Northstar has the two of the largest snowmaking systems on the West Coast.
Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood have brought mountain resorts to an entirely new level with $78 million worth of renovations. With the new lodges, lifts, trails, ski school facilities, superpipes, grooming equipment, snowmaking technology and other services. “It goes without saying that Vail Resorts continue to demonstrate their commitment to enhancing the guest experience.” Kirsten A. Lynch, Chief Marketing Officer.

With this access, members will also receive special benefits for summer 2013, including access to sightseeing gondola rides at the company’s resortsAs additional incentive to purchase early, skiers and riders visiting the resorts this spring can turn in their day lift ticket, apply the value of that ticket toward the purchase of a season pass and receive one complimentary day of April skiing/riding this season. Early purchasers also receive six buddy tickets for friends and family to use during the 2013-14 winter season.
Skiers and riders should purchase their passes for next year now as these prices with six discounted single-day lift tickets, or “buddy” tickets, to ski with your friends and family are only guaranteed through April 14, 2013.
