Five Snowboarders Killed by Avalanche in Loveland Pass, Colorado

According to ABC News, six snowboarders caused an avalanche in Loveland Pass, Colorado yesterday killing five of them. The avalanche measured 200 yards wide and almost 400 yards long. One of the snowboarders was able to escape, only getting partially buried and notifying authorities of the emergency.  The names of the snowboarders have not yet been released.
