Over 300 potential survivors will flock to Vail for their chance to prove their survival skills.

The popular CBS television show is holding their one and only casting call in Colorado at Vail this Saturday, August 17 from 10am-4pm. Vail is stoked to feature the potential reality stars at the resort as they get their shot to prove to show producers in a one-minute video audition why they should be picked to be on the 27th season of “Survivor.” In addition, competitors will have a chance to show-off their skills throughout the day, as many potential survivors have been known to pull some crazy stunts in the waiting line for the audition tape in other casting calls across the nation. While the official sign-ups have reached capacity, most visitors will flock to Vail as audience members and entertain themselves with Vail’s own version of “Survivor” that they can participate in.

Vail is bringing the “Survivor” casting call to a whole new level as they are integrating their own version of the competition in what they have deemed the Vail Family Adventure Challenge. This free, family-friendly competition will run during the 10am-4pm time of casting at Solaris Plaza where competitions such as the “Water Balloon Toss of Death,” “Escape from Babagoza,” “The Great American Apple Stack Challenge,” “Hula Hoopalooza” and the highly anticipated gummy worm-eating contest will be taking place. CBS is thrilled with the one-of-a-kind event Vail has created and is highly supportive of future try-out locations incorporating their own version of the family-friendly competitions.
