Jackson Hole Skiers Sail from NorCal to Central America

Max “The Mog” Mogren and Russell “DangeRuss” Austin are setting sail aboard a 40-year-old, 30 ft sailboat with their surfboards, starting in Northern California and heading all the way to Central America. The two Jackson Hole, Wyoming skiers will make their way down the coast stopping in places, including: Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. They bring with them art supplies, sports equipment, heirloom seeds, pro-pirate propaganda and plenty of stoke to share with the those they encounter on their journey.

Mogren & Austin hope to accomplish several things during their mission, “giving back and sharing the lessons learned over a combined 3 decades of living on the fringes of a historically psychotic and rapidly evolving civilization. We hope this trip and resulting film spreads a message centered on The Power of Positive Piracy (PoPP).”
