POW ALERT! A storm in the Sierra’s brought 20 inches of fresh snow to the Lake Tahoe Ski Resort, Squaw Valley this past weekend! Squaw was able to open new terrain and the snow is still falling. Squaw’s Red Dog and Squaw Creek chair lifts are now spinning, with extended hours operating from 9am-4pm, meaning more time to shred! Squaw Valley has a total of 11 lifts operating, and 10 runs open for skiing and riding.

According to Lake Tahoe weather, today it’s sunny and cold, but 20 inches from this past weekends storm calls for an epic blue-bird powder day!

Here are some photos from this past weekend, we can only imagine how sick it is today! More snow is forecasted for this week.
