An all day fundraiser to benefit the High Fives Foundation Scheduled for Monday, March 31st, 2014.
Squaw Valley (Olympic Valley, CA) will host the SKINNY Ski-A-Thon from 9am-4pm. Participants will complete as many laps on the KT-22 lift as possible on “SKINNY” skis with a waist of 70 millimeters or less. It will not be a race, but a casual event to have fun and enjoy the outdoors in the name of philanthropy. Participants will raise money for each completed lap and also gather flat donations with proceeds going to the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation.
“As we enter the 4th year of this amazing day, we look forward to the Lake Tahoe community coming together for a great cause while having a great day shredding the world-class terrain under the KT-22 chairlift at Squaw Valley!” Says David Bronkie of Arcade Belts “Although skinny got the job done before technology changed, they don’t compare to modern (wider skis). This sets the stage for a great day with friends on the snow at Squaw Valley. We can’t wait to gather pledges and have a blast on March 31, 2014!”
