Yoga Squaw’d will return to The Village at Squaw Valley this summer, providing free outdoor community yoga classes every Wednesday from June 18 through August 27. The yoga classes are taught by some of Tahoe’s most esteemed instructors and will take place on First Street in The Village at 5 p.m. This is the second summer of Yoga Squaw’d, which is hosted by Squaw’s Wanderlust Yoga Studio.

“The free Yoga Squaw’d classes are the perfect way for the community to come together and collectively enjoy the beautiful outdoors while also improving their individual wellness,” said Jamie Ebert, manager of the Wanderlust Yoga Studio. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this wonderful experience to our fellow community members, as well as those visiting the Tahoe area.”

In keeping with the spirit of Wanderlust’s fusion of yoga and music, all of the Yoga Squaw’d classes will also feature musical accompaniment by a DJ or sound healer. The 75 minute classes will take place rain or shine. In the event of rain or cool temperatures, Yoga Squaw’d sessions will be moved to inside the Wanderlust Yoga Studio.

Those participating in the Yoga Squaw’d can also explore The Village at Squaw Valley before or after the free yoga session. Yogis can to treat themselves to a pre-yoga massage at Trilogy Spa or take advantage of retail shopping in The Village. Following the class, yogis can enjoy live music and happy hour every Wednesday at 22 Bistro, or a post-yoga glass of wine at Uncorked as part of ladies night, which is also every Wednesday evening from 4-8 p.m.
