Skiers and Snowboarders took to Mammoth Mountain this morning in snowy weather for the annual first chair banner breakthrough at 8:30am. The resort received a dusting overnight and flurries continued into the afternoon, adding to a base depth of 12-16 inches. Loyal Mammoth goers were treated to $50 lift tickets and the first 50 people in line at the Broadway Express chair received free lift tickets for the day.

“Thank you for being here and sharing the excitement and passion of opening day with us,” said Dallas. “I want to thank everyone involved, especially our snowmakers, for making this another fantastic opening. Here’s to a great year!”
